War World and Invasion of Body Snatcher

Zombies in War World Z and pod aliens in the invasion of body snatchers increase cultural tensions and societal anxieties. Zombies at War World Z have a widespread zombie plague among human beings. The zombies delete human personalities after infecting them with the deadly plague (Brooks 50). By deleting human personalities, zombies are capable of multiplying, which is a way of creating a new race with new cultural and societal connections.

From a personal view, zombies disrupt the social nature of humans by biting loved individuals and transforming into zombies. This reduces inter-personal connectedness and instils fear in humans. Besides, the new community created with zombie traits and their abilities will lack the social values like caring because all humans will be wiped out. Additionally, zombies have superpowers that surpass humans, and they cannot be controlled by American and Israel human soldiers. The zombies have negative intentions toward humans, threatening people's social stability and the culture if zombies exist.

Pod aliens are a threat to human culture and social relations between individuals. Pod aliens can grow and reside in a similar environment to humans. Pod aliens resemble humans and have abilities to change their nature. For instance, Jack Finney is characterized as a pod alien with the ability to invade humans and transforms them into pods (Look 130). Alien pods could convince humans to adopt the communist nature of life by transforming individuals into pods. Human beings have lesser power to oppose pod aliens or the adoption of communist governance that would take American citizens and its allies.

The idea of wiping human beings by zombies and pod aliens threatens the existence of humans. The zombies and pod aliens will introduce new social and cultural demands that will not favour the existence of human beings. Pod aliens and zombies will control humans. Social connectedness, values and cultural beliefs between humans will be ruined. The Communist nature of ruling will increase human sufferings, where humans will lack strategies to overcome the suffering or oppression. The idea of human inexistence is terrifying because zombies and pod aliens will worsen the survivability of humans. In this case, humans will live in fear of being invaded or being infected, which affects their well-being.
