Postman Always Rings Twice and Fatal Attraction

The film “Postman Always Rings Twice, and Fatal Attraction” portrays the respect and support that woman get, which makes the looker associated with the characters in the entire film. The looker is introduced to Cora Smith using close-ups and cameras focused on her body for the viewers to stare at (Engelstad 140). Cameras, close-ups, and lighting make the gaze appealing and identifiable in the postman always ring twice. The gaze is turned to the looker, who is expected to view Cora Smith sexually. The gaze created around Cora makes the looker engage with the film before interacting with the lead female character. The gaze is enhanced through close-ups to show that Cora is sexy and heroic. Therefore, lookers are influenced to view Cora from the protagonist's point of view, that Cora reveals the lust.

Alex is introduced to the looker when she is attempting suicide by cutting her waist. The cameras focus on her waist and her facial appearance to portray her sexy body exposed to suicidal acts (Leonard 4). The lighting used to portray Alex to the looker as beautiful, bearing that Dan was pleading with her to stop. The looker is expected to view Alex as the only lover and woman that Dan could have, which triggers sympathetic feelings.

Both the Fatal attraction and the postman always rings twice are used to develop positive attitudes from the looker-based n pictures and scenes that capture Alex and Cora are sexy and beautiful. The films portray the attractiveness of women at a societal level. The use of lighting close up and cameras emphasizes that men are attracted by the gaze created towards Alexa and Cora.

The postman always rings twice and portrays the heroic nature of women through Cora, who reveals the lust of the male protagonist. The fatal attraction illustrates how women gain respect from men by depicting the gaze created by Alex. In this case, men like Dan are forced to sympathize with beautiful women. Therefore, women are perceived differently at the communal level, but their attraction and lovely nature make men and lookers support and recognize their specialty in life.
