In this case, the condition is termed as the heat form of stroke, which is a dangerous form of the condition that individuals participating in a 5KM race in heat condition come across (Weiss et al., 332). The situation is accompanied by another form of the condition that is regarded as hyponatremia, which is regarded as the loss of sodium in an individual's blood. The occurrences of hyponatremia is normally attributed to the fact that the individuals who participate in the race with a heart condition are tempted to drink a lot of water within the process. In taking a lot of water, the water is taken directly to the individual's blood, thus diluting sodium concentration. Based on the fact that sodium plays an important role in the body's functioning, individuals normally suffer from the risk of dying after the race or even collapsing. 

Another kind of research depicted that there are high chances of individuals suffering from the heart attacker during the process, which is another kind of disorder that also contributes to the individuals' death. The reason behind such is that running requires the heartbeat to increase its rate (Weiss et al., 337). Bearing in mind that the individuals participate in a race occurring under high heat conditions, the heart is made to strain throughout the process. In most cases, the straining moves to the extent that it cannot be accommodated as per the desired functioning. With such a condition, there is a high possibility of the individuals dying. The above results from the heart were failing to supply blood effectively to all parts of the body and since it supplies oxygen and blood to all parts of the body, the individual ends up dying.

 In addition to such, another condition that contributes to the death of the mentioned individual is the fact that the individual is subjected to suffering from another condition that is regarded as postural hypotension. The condition is mainly experienced after the race as the individual has stopped running. The condition is normally associated with another form of a condition such as high blood pressure (Weiss et al., 340). At the same time, the rhythmic contraction of an individual's body is altered. Since the individuals' cell function is altered and the associated high blood pressure, the individual dies in the process. 

In conclusion, it is clear that the individuals who normally participate in a 5Km race in heat normally suffer from the risk of dying. The occurrence of the incidences is biologically explained.
